My name is Amy DuPre and I am now the owner and trainer at Pawsitive Pup School & Boarding of Myrtle Beach. I have been working in the industry for over 10 years and have trained with several force and fear free trainers along the Grand Strand for 6 plus years now. Our facility and training methods are 100%  Force Free and we use only Positive Reinforcement methods to successfully turn unwanted behaviors into appropriate behaviors in dogs.

My husband Jacob and I have lived in Myrtle Beach for over 40 years now and have two human kiddos and five, four-legged kiddos of our own, each with their own personal strengths and weaknesses. All pups are individuals and they are all treated as such and we all learn in different ways. We are very small with just my husband, myself, two other daycare attendants. Each one of us has been trained to read your dog's cues; I insist that each one of us takes time to get to know each pup and their likes and dislikes. We strive to make your pups feel like they are in their own home atmosphere. 

We will never use shock, prong, or choke collars, or any other type of punishment techniques on your dog, nor do we allow these adversive traning devices in our facility. These methods have scientifically been proven to be ineffective and inhumane. Effective training should be fun, and should never include force, fear, pain, or intimidation.
